Alice Deejay

BIOGRAPHY

"Alice Deejay was a Dutch electronic dance music project, founded in 1998 by DJ Jochem Oosterhuis, Sebastiaan Molijn, and Eelke Kalberg (also known as Pronti & Kalmani). The name 'Alice Deejay' was derived from the characters Alice and Deejay, introduced by Molijn and Oosterhuis in the Dutch club circuit. Alice Deejay's first and only album, 'Who Needs Guitars Anyway?', was released in 2000. The album's first single, 'Better Off Alone', was a commercial success, reaching the top 10 in several countries. The second single, 'Back in My Life', was also a success, reaching the top 5 in several countries. The group's third single, 'Will I Ever?', was less successful than the first two singles, but still managed to reach the top 10 in several countries. Alice Deejay's fourth and final single, 'Celebrate Our Love', was released in 2001. The single was not as successful as the first three, but still managed to reach the top 20 in several countries. Alice Deejay disbanded in 2002."
