Dionne Warwick is an American singer, actress, and music producer. She began her career in 1963 with the single "Don't Make Me Over", which reached the fifteenth spot on the Billboard Hot 100. She then recorded several hits of the 1960s and 1970s, such as "Walk on By" and "I Say a Little Prayer". In 1968, Warwick represented the United States at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Do Re Mi", finishing seventh. Warwick continued to record and tour worldwide in the 1980s and 1990s. In 1993, she was honored at the Kennedy Center Honors. In 2008, Warwick was named one of the fifty greatest women in the music industry by Billboard magazine. She has sold over 100 million records worldwide and was named one of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century by Time magazine.
