BIOGRAPHY

Survivor is an American rock band formed in Chicago, Illinois, in 1977, by Jim Peterik and Frankie Sullivan. They achieved international success with their song "Eye of the Tiger," the theme from the movie Rocky III (1982). The group also had a hit with "Burning Heart," featured on the Rocky IV (1985) soundtrack. Survivor has sold over 14 million albums worldwide.
