BIOGRAPHY
ZZ Top is an American rock band formed in 1969 in Houston, Texas. The band is composed of Billy Gibbons (guitar and vocals), Dusty Hill (bass and vocals) and Frank Beard (drums). ZZ Top has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide and has been ranked four times in the top 100 of the greatest artists of all time by Rolling Stone magazine. Their musical style is characterized by heavy guitar riffs, elaborate solos and humorous lyrics. They have also popularized their image of "Texas bad boys", with their cowboy attire and straw hats. ZZ Top was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
