Intermission was a six-piece Irish boyband formed in early 2000 and disbanded in 2005. The group's members were Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch, Mikey Graham, Stephen Gately, Ronan Keating and Bryan McFadden. The group released two studio albums, Together (2000) and A New Chapter (2002), before going their separate ways. They also released a greatest hits album, The Greatest Hits (2005), before disbanding. Intermission achieved success with their debut single, "Give It Up", which reached number one in Ireland and the UK. They also had success with follow-up singles, "Love to See You Cry" and "I Believe My Heart". After releasing their second album, Keating and McFadden left the group to pursue solo careers. The remaining members continued as a four-piece until their disbandment in 2005. Throughout their career, the group sold over 4 million records worldwide.
