Sidney Samson, born December 12, 1981, is a Dutch music producer, DJ, and remixer. He is known for being one of the pioneers of the electro house music style.
Hailing from Rotterdam, Netherlands, Samson began playing electronic music in his hometown's clubs at the age of 15. In 2000, he released his first single, "Riverside," under the name DJ Sidney. This track was successful in Europe, reaching number one on the charts in the Netherlands and Belgium.
In 2007, Samson founded his own record label, Samsobeats. The label's first single, "Get Up," was an international success, reaching the top 10 of the charts in Australia and New Zealand. Samson has also remixed tracks for artists such as Madonna, Pitbull, Flo Rida, and Afrojack.
In 2010, Samson released his first album, "Riverside," under the name Sidney Samson. The album reached number one on the charts in the Netherlands and Belgium.
In 2012, he released his second album, "Boom," under the name Sidney Samson. This record also topped the charts in the Netherlands and Belgium.
In 2013, Samson released his third album, "The Virus," under the name Sidney Samson. The album was successful in the charts in the Netherlands and Belgium.
From 2014 to 2018, Sidney Samson released four additional albums under his own name, all of which reached number one on the charts in the Netherlands and Belgium. These albums are "Sidney Samson" (2014), "Sidney Samson" (2015), "Sidney Samson" (2016), and "Sidney Samson" (2018).
