Carolina Marquez is a Colombian singer born on March 16, 1982, in Barranquilla. She began her career in 2001 as a singer in the Latin music group Wawa. In 2004, she released her first solo single, "El Ritmo No Perdona (Prende la Vela)," which became a hit in Latin America. In 2006, she released her first solo album, "Carolina Marquez," which was successful in Colombia and Spain. In 2007, she participated in the popular Colombian reality show "Yo soy la reina del flow." In 2008, she released her second album, "The Remixes," which was well received in Latin America and Spain. In 2009, she released her third album, "3," which was successful in Colombia, Spain, and Latin America. In 2010, she released her fourth album, "4," which was also well received in Colombia, Spain, and Latin America. In 2011, she released her fifth album, "5," which was successful in the same countries. In 2012, her sixth album, "6," was also successful in Colombia, Spain, and Latin America.
