David Morales is an American producer and DJ born on August 21, 1961. He is considered one of the pioneers of house music.
Morales began his career as a DJ in New York clubs in the mid-1980s. He later worked as a producer and remixer for various artists, such as Mariah Carey, U2, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, Sting, and Enigma.
In 1993, he released his first solo album, "The Program", which topped the US dance charts. He later released two other albums, "This Is Your Night" (1996) and "2 Worlds Collide" (2000).
Morales has won several Grammy Awards, including the "Producer of the Year" award in 1997. He was also nominated for "Producer of the Year" at the Grammy Awards in 1999 and 2000.
