Peter Lesko is a Slovak-American composer, improviser, and sound artist. Active in the new music and experimental music scenes in the United States and Europe since the early 1990s, his music has been performed by ensembles and soloists such as the Ensemble Intercontemporain, the Arditti Quartet, the JACK Quartet, the International Contemporary Ensemble, the American Composers Orchestra, the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra. He has been a resident artist at the American Academy in Rome, the MacDowell Colony, the Banff Centre, and the Akademie Schloss Solitude.
