"Punkrockerz is a German punk rock band from Cologne, consisting of four members: lead vocalist and guitarist Stefan Raab, bassist and backing vocalist Dirk Felsenheimer, drummer and backing vocalist Christian Fliegenschmidt, and guitarist and backing vocalist Michael Preil. The band was formed in 1998 and released their self-titled debut album, Punkrockerz, in 1999. Their music is influenced by classic punk rock of the 1970s, as well as modern punk rock and hardcore punk. The band's songs often tackle political and social issues, such as war, racism, and xenophobia. Punkrockerz has achieved some success in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and has been nominated for two awards at the German Music Awards in 2006. They have also performed at the German rock festival Rock am Ring in 2006 and 2007."
