Shakatak is a British music group formed in 1980, consisting of four members: Bill Sharpe (piano, keyboards, vocals), Roger Odell (drums, percussion), Nigel Wright (bass) and Jill Saward (vocals). The group experienced some success in the 1980s with hits such as "Night Birds" and "Down on the Street". They continued to perform live and record in the 1990s and 2000s, and released a new album in 2013.
