Ardo (born October 8, 1984) is a French singer and songwriter. He is best known for his single "Pour un flirt," which reached number one in France in 2006. Born in Paris, France, Ardo began playing guitar at the age of 14 and quickly began writing his own songs. He released his first EP, "Ardo," in 2004. The EP was well received, and Ardo quickly began working on his debut album. "Pour un flirt" was released as the lead single from the album in 2006. The song was an instant hit, reaching number one in France and becoming one of the biggest songs of the year. The album, simply titled "Ardo," was released later the same year and was a success, reaching the top ten in France. Since then, Ardo has released two more albums, "Coeur de pirate" (2007) and "Ardoise" (2009). He has also released several singles, including "Je t'aime" (2007), "Aimer" (2008) and "Pardon" (2009).
