Shona Hyslop is a Scottish artist. She grew up in the town of Ayr and began her musical career playing piano in local jazz clubs. She later studied composition and jazz at Glasgow University. After graduating, she began teaching music while playing in various Scottish jazz groups. In 2010, she released her first solo album, "Inner World". Since then, she has released two more albums and performed at numerous jazz festivals in Europe.
