Aly & Fila are an Egyptian duo of producers and DJs, consisting of Aly Amr Fathalah (born August 11, 1977), also known as Aly, and Fadi Wassef Naguib (born August 16, 1981), known as Fila. This duo is considered one of the leading representatives of the Egyptian trance music scene. Their music is influenced by DJs and producers such as Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, and Tiësto. Aly & Fila have collaborated with numerous artists, including Ferry Corsten, Aruna, Chris Jones, Jonathan Mendelsohn, Philippe El Sisi, Susana, Stoneface & Terminal, Solarstone, Robert Nickson, Ana Criado, and Rea Garvey. In 2006, Aly & Fila created the label Future Sound of Egypt, which reached the top spot on the DJ Magazine Top 100 Trance in 2011. The label has released the albums of several artists, including their own studio albums Unforgettable (2008), Rising Sun (2009), and Quiet Storm (2010). In 2011, they launched the Future Sound of Egypt radio show, broadcast on several stations around the world. Aly & Fila were ranked first in the DJ Magazine Top 100 Trance in 2011, 2012, and 2013. In 2014, they were ranked second, and in 2015, third.
