"4 Strings" ist eine niederländische Trance-Musikgruppe, die 1998 von Jan De Vos und Carlo Resoort gegründet wurde. Die Gruppe erlangte bereits zu Beginn ihres Bestehens große Aufmerksamkeit durch Titel wie "Day Time" und "Take Me Away (Into The Night)", die von vielen internationalen DJs häufig gespielt wurden. 4 Strings hatte Erfolg nicht nur mit ihren eigenen Titeln, sondern ist auch heute noch gefragt für Remixe verschiedener bekannter Künstler. Die Besetzung besteht aus Carlo Resoort als Produzent und Jan De Vos als DJ. Ursprünglich gehörte auch Vanessa van Hemert als Sängerin zur Gruppe, sie verließ die Band allerdings 2005 und wurde durch verschiedene Stimmen in mehreren Titeln ersetzt. Trotz der vielen Wechsel bei den Stimmen blieb der charakteristische Sound von 4 Strings dabei stets erhalten und ist wiedererkennbar. Die Gruppe ist bis heute aktiv und produziert weiterhin Musik, die ihre Fans weltweit begeistert. Sie hinterließen eine unverwechselbare Spur in der Trance-Bewegung und beeinflussen nach wie vor ihre Zukunft mit ihren innovativen Kompositionen.
