Jan Wayne è un artista musicale tedesco nato il 16 giugno 1974 a Dortmund. È noto per le sue canzoni Tell Me Why e Because the Night, rese popolari dal DJ e produttore tedesco Paul van Dyk. Negli anni '90, Jan Wayne ha intrapreso la sua carriera musicale suonando musica techno nei club tedeschi. Il suo primo album è uscito nel 1999, seguito da altri due album nel 2000 e 2001. Nel 2003, ha pubblicato il suo primo singolo, Tell Me Why, che è diventato un successo in Germania e in Europa.
